Rising rap artist, Yuhreto, releases his latest single, “Outro,” from his debut album, “Awakening The Album.” Yuhreto’s emotionally charged lyrics fuel the forthright track, which focuses on the idea that in order to achieve a high level of success, one must be willing to endure hard and even painful work—no pain, no gain.

Yuhreto is no stranger to the music game. Growing up in Phoenix, Arizona, he was surrounded by the musical influences of his family from a young age. His mother’s boyfriend was a music producer, and any time he would play the piano in her bedroom, Yuhreto would become fascinated by the sounds.

“I would occasionally see Isaiah—my mom’s boyfriend—making beats or playing the piano and I enjoyed hearing the piano,” shares Yuhreto.

When he was about five years old, Yuhreto and his brothers were involved in an incident. Isaiah decided to relocate the family to a new house, one where the walls echoed with the sweet reverberations of the piano. Sadly, a few months after the family had moved into their new house, Isaiah passed away from cancer.

Watching his mom reel from her devastating loss was not an easy thing to witness as a child. However, through music, Yuhreto was able to express his emotions in a way that helped him to cope.

“Not only has being a music producer and songwriter made me a better person, it has overall saved me from depression and many hard times that I have gone through in my life; it has allowed me to put my energy into something positive,” says Yuhreto.

If there’s one message he aspires to share with the world, it’s this: There is no light without darkness; follow your passion and your passion will follow you.
