The Goldtunes release their latest single, “History Class.” Packed with potent lyrics, the ardent track features a delicate piano intro that leads into a swelling, guitar-heavy arrangement of sound.

According to the Goldtunes, “The track is about meeting somebody that you never really got a chance to pursue; it is also about how you would almost do anything for someone you don't even know, if you fall for them hard enough,” share The Goldtunes.

“The instrumentals kind of come off pretty aggressive, which emulates the emotion in the room when we recorded it. This song actually started as a love ballad that only included an acoustic guitar, but the raw emotion of needing someone's attention called for a more aggressive approach,” explain The Goldtunes.

The Goldtunes consist of brothers Caleb and Jake Westpy. The resourceful duo record all of their own music in their home’s basement studio. Caleb writes songs and sings lead vocals, while Jake records all instruments, programs drums, and sings lead vocals.
