SACHI wrote a love letter to their fans with this release sharing their appreciation for the connection to their fans during live performances — something the group missed dearly this last year. ‘Take Me Back’ is releases via Republic Records and Casablanca. The track features stunning and crisp female vocals with lyrics full of desire and passion. The production contained thumping drums, elastic synths, and SACHI’s iconic dance floor rhythm. SACHI uses this track to help them and their fans reminisce about the unforgettable past and the exciting future.
SACHI shares…
“I guess when we were making it we were thinking about pre-COVID life. Where we could go to shows and be crammed next to a whole lot of people. A time we completely took for granted,” explains the duo, continuing, “We just hope it makes people feel something. The sole purpose of electronic music is to make people feel a certain way - we hope this song does that.”
‘Take Me Back’ is released ahead of SACHI’s 2020 singles ‘Enchante’ and ‘You (A La)’ and their 2019 Nights With Ruby EP amassing over 35 million Spotify streams alone. After taking New Zealand by storm, the duo eyes taking over the global stage of electronic music and ‘Take Me Back’ brings them one step closer to that goal.
