POESY, otherwise known as Sarah Botelho, follows up her debut Billboard Top 40 charting single 'Soldier of Love’ with her most notable release to date ‘Diamonds.’ The single is making waves with POESY’s raw and intense lyrics and vocal composition that build off of the dark and etherial melodies for a pure and unique sound for her listeners. After listening to ‘Diamonds’ it proved to be difficult to get the voice of POESY off the brain with this blissful pop-rock anthem.

“Diamonds is at its core, a song about experiencing a dark time and trying to drag yourself through to the other side. It’s about the pressure you put on yourself that leaves you with dark inner turmoil. I’ve dragged myself out of that countless times so I hope Diamonds can do that for someone else. I called it Diamonds because they’re a substance that is made under huge amounts of pressure, but they’re also so valuable - just like we are. So be gentle with yourself.”
If you’re not familiar with POESY, she was discovered after her appearence in the first season of THE LAUNCH, a Canadian hit music competition show. Her performance not only blew judges away, but won the hearts of millions of Candian’s and listeners around the world. Her performance took her career to new heights which delivered us the artist to present ‘Diamonds’ today!
