American-Norwegian music duo NIGHTMÅNE release their latest single ‘FOOL’—a vulnerable track that explores the painful emotions that can arise from being in a one-sided relationship with a distant partner. 

‘FOOL’ began as a lyric concept, but soon metamorphized into a piano-based, ballad-style song. NIGHTMÅNE were eager to incorporate singer Anthony Starble’s classical piano background into their sound, and ‘FOOL’ was the perfect outlet to do so. Featuring the band’s signature pulsing synths and powerful vocals, the track is a genre-bending fusion of melancholic release. 

NIGHTMÅNE consists of Swedish pop tastemaker Sigurd Heimdal, from Norway, and singer-songwriter Anthony Starble, from Colorado. The duo’s list of songwriting and production credits span the globe—from Cher and Luis Fonsi in the U.S., to Ace of Base in Sweden; they’ve even made headway in Asia, with Namie Amuro, TVXQ!, and Rocket Girls 101.
