London-based singer-songwriter, Jasmine Thompson, releases her latest single, ‘Already There.’ Featuring candy-coated vocals and rich melodies, the bittersweet track pays tribute to a specific time in Thompson’s life—when she was just 16 years old and had taken some time off from her burgeoning music career to reset.
During this time of self-renewal, she waited tables in Soho and fell madly in love with someone whom she would eventually endure a long-distance relationship with. That much-needed time away from the industry gave Thompson a different perspective, and her new single and accompanying video is a romanticized reflection of that time—an evolution of two strangers meeting in a restaurant/bar, falling in love, growing stronger while apart.
Produced by TMS (Lewis Capaldi) and co-written with Kristin Carpenter (Greyson Chance, Nasty Cherry, NOTD), Maddie Eliasson, Sebastian Daniel (Matoma, Afrojack), Michael Pollack (Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5) and TMS, ‘Already There’ is the first single from Thompson’s new EP, all of the above, due later this year.

Her collaboration with German DJ and producer, Robin Schulz, on ‘Sun Goes Down (Feat. Jasmine Thompson)’, earned 1 billion streams worldwide, and was accompanied by international gold and platinum certifications and Top 5 and Top 10 chart runs in Europe, Australia, and South America. ‘Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)’ remix by German DJ, Felix Jaehn, rose to the top 10 on iTunes’ Top Dance Songs chart and earned gold and platinum certifications in a variety of countries—amassing over 1 billion streams.
