After dropping the official video for his debut hit ‘Hadal Ahbek,’ Issam Alnajjar was determined to broaden the scope of his breakthrough song, which garnered over 5 million views on YouTube in a few short weeks. In an effort to diversify the sound, Alnajjar enlisted Canadian Multi-Platinum/Diamond dance/music pair Loud Luxury to rethink the original track. Alnajarr also recruited Multi-Platinum Iraqi-Canadian singer/songwriter Ali Gatie to breathe life into the lyrics and elevate the boldness of the song!

Originally, Alnajaar wrote and recorded ‘Hadal Ahbek’ following a memorable FaceTime call with someone special. In recognizing how content he felt in this girls’ presence, the first thought he had was “hateh rassik aal mkhadeh” (“put your head on my pillow” in Arabic). Fittingly enough, the title of the song also translates to “I’ll Keep Loving You.” For the remake, Loud Luxury turned up the tempo and included a rhythmic house beat to ensure that every listener is inspired to belt out the lyrics and dance like no one is watching. Likewise, Ali Gatie’s rich vocals add an unmatched element to the new sound, rendering it the ideal song to get lost in.
