Isaac Zale teams up with Smokepurpp for the release of their latest single, “Gasoline.’ The sizzling track features layered synths and a smooth flow of vocals, delivering the ultimate chill vibe.
Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Isaac Zale is an acclaimed recording artist, producer and audio engineer; he is also a member and founder of Burgundy Soul—an art collective and label.
Chicago native, Omar Pineiro, is a Miami-based rapper that found initial success on Soundcloud, back in 2016. He made his start by rapping over his own beats and took the name Smokepurpp while drawing inspiration from the artists he admired most in his youth: Lil Wayne, Chief Keef, and Young Thug.
During his senior year of high school, his career began to take off, forcing him to drop out of school. By the time he was 18, he had gained exposure for ‘Samsung Jumpin’ and ‘Ski Mask,’ which had gotten millions of plays online.
Smokepurpp went on to tour internationally, striking a deal with Spotify. He released his Deadstar mixtape in September of 2017, and then released ‘Bless Yo Trap,’ in 2018—a joint project with Canadian track master, Murda Beatz.
Merging Zale’s adaptability and Smokepurpp’s distinct style, ‘Gasoline’ is the perfect example of a collaboration gone right.
