Australian based singer songwriter and artist GRAACE makes a huge splash as 2020 comes to an end with her single groovy & heartfelt pop single ‘You Do You.’ This track makes it clear that GRAACE is cut from the same cloth as Dua Lipa, Halsey, and Ava Max! After the 22-year old songstress was launched into her artist career with her co-write of ‘Numb’ by Hayden James and amassing 66 million streams in 2018 and had her hit debut single ‘Last Night’ accumulate 23 million streams on Spotify alone, its no surprise she is crushing 2020!

With ‘You Do You,’ GRAACE takes the opportunity to stray from her sad-girl-pop sound for this groovy, bold, and danceable pop hit! As she always does, she takes her brutally honest tone and lyrics to empathize with her listeners and fan base the way she does best.

GRAACE started her life in music at a young age as most prodigies do! It all started with one Christmas in her early teens to find a guitar, microphone and amp under the tree gifted to her by her very own father - thus a star was in the making! Growing up laying classical piano from an early age and singing around the house set her up for an amazing artist career.

"'You Do You' is written about the honeymoon phase of meeting someone. Personally, I’m somebody who doesn’t have a type and falls for personalities rather than looks or gender, it pulls me in like crazy when somebody has this certain energy about them," explains GRAACE. Writing the chorus I was picturing that funny stage when there’s a thin line in the beginning of a relationship where you want to give that person everything right there and then but know you need to play it a little bit cool or they’ll think your weird and clingy haha. But I think that bit of mystery is fun. Embracing being a woman is something that has taken time for me but writing 'You Do You' felt like me in my rawest form being vulnerable and strong. And f%^king owning the power we have."
