Elaskia releases her latest pop single, ‘Can’t Help Loving You.’ Featuring raw, powerful vocals, the impassioned piano ballad expresses the heartache of being in a toxic relationship, and the struggle of letting go.
“I wrote this song after someone really let me down. They really promised a lot more than they were willing to give, and it felt like they went from being this major part of my life to literally dropping off the face of the earth. I guess the part that really frustrated me was that even though I felt extremely hurt I didn’t hate them and at the end of the day I still think the world of them, but some relationships aren’t meant to stay close and it can be a really scary thing accepting that and letting go,” shares Elaskia.
Australia-based singer-songwriter, Elaskia, has been making waves in the global pop scene. Her debut single, ‘Calling Out My Name,’ was featured on the hit Netflix series, Dynasty, and also in Marvel’s Runaways; her follow-up single, ‘I Will Do Anything,’ landed on an episode of Australian TV favorite, Home and Away, as well.
Relatable and vulnerable, Elaskia’s musical style can be compared to the array of artists that she has opened for, including: Vera Blue, Alpine and Montaigne. She has also headlined with the following: RUFUS, Peking Duk, Gang of Youths, The Preatures, The Jungle Giants, Ocean Alley, Skeggs and Amy Shark.
The talented songstress is currently scheduled to perform at Lighthouse Festival, on November 13, 2021.
