Los Angeles, CA — Los Angeles-based DJ and producer, Dance Armstrong, and DJ, host and record label manager, PLURPAMMY, release intoxicating tech house single, “So Sweet,” via Better Together Records—streaming now on all major platforms. Stream "So Sweet" today on Spotify, here!

Dance Armstrong joins PLURPAMMY for the release of their latest single, “So Sweet.” Minimally tech-inspired and heavily-percussive, “So Sweet” features an energetic bassline and bright, melodic elements that intensify the track’s seductive vocals and romantic intent.

“So Sweet” blossomed into a project about a year ago, when Dance Armstrong chose the “kisses so sweet” vocal out of a royalty-free sample pack. He had just met PLURPAMMY for the first time and felt as though the lyrics expressed shared emotions of their newfound relationship, and also matched the carefree, yet, passionate nature of the track’s instrumental basis.

While reviewing the track’s submission, Better Together Records co-owner, Mark Martinez, recommended that the vocal sample be replaced with live recorded vocals instead—to ensure quality and originality. It soon became clear that utilizing PLURPAMMY’s vocal talent was the right choice, as it further strengthened the track’s intention and background.

“This track sounds nothing like it did at the beginning, and every change has only made it stronger and more representative of the emotions Pam and I felt throughout the duration of the project, and our relationship. Couldn’t be happier with the end result,” shares Dance Armstrong.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, DJ and producer, Dance Armstrong,  is known best for his UK-influenced tech house and minimal tech sound and style. Growing up, he played the piano and guitar, and performed in several heavy metal bands before relocating to Los Angeles, where he took comfort in the music scene. Dance Armstrong also attended IO Music Academy, where he graduated proudly with a degree in music production. His first commercially released track, “The Switch,” dropped earlier this year. The electrifying track was a collaboration with his good friend and recognized producer, Kyle Zuck, of Vanilla Ace’s Wyldcard Records.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, PLURPAMMY is known for producing events such as Plurmacy, Neon Beach and Date Night. She is also a co-founder of Better Together Records. When Dance Armstrong reached out to PLURPAMMY about collaborating together on “So Sweet,” with her on vocals, she was amped to add singer and DJ to her growing resume. She realized that she would have to choose an artist name, which can be a daunting task for any artist. After much debate, she ended up combining the mantra that she lives and breathes by—PLUR: peace, love and harmony—with her name, and the rest is history.
