Callie Reiff teams up with Louella for the release of their upcoming single, ‘What Ifs’— a lyrical exploration of coping in the current times.
The track is a robust, bass-heavy divination that features passionate vocals by Louella.
Reiff shares, “The song is an emotional journey through the ups and downs with someone or even just with yourself.” She explains, “The past year has been tough for everyone and we have all been ‘surviving on the what ifs’ and grappling with not knowing how things will pan out.”
As for her approach to the song’s production, Reiff says, “I tried to uplift the lyrics to give it that energy of hope that we will be moving on to better times ahead.”
Reiff is an inspiration to all in the industry. An accomplished producer and performer, the 21-year-old prodigy has also made history as the youngest DJ to perform at Webster Hall. She has graced numerous stages at celebrated festivals, such as Creamfields, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and Ultra; she has also opened for renowned acts, including Ed Sheeran, Skrillex, and more.
The gifted artist spent 2020 in the studio with several industry-leading artists, like Grabbitz and Audrey Nuna; she even closed out the year by joining SOFI TUKKER for a live stream residency. Reiff came in to 2021 hot, with ‘The Kids are all Rebels 2.0’—a collaboration with fellow artist, Lenii, that helped set the stage for her signature indie-in-the-club sound.
Recognized for her unwavering talent by entertainment dynamos, Spotify and Teen Vogue, Reiff has also gained global support from prominent tastemakers, like BBC Radio 1’s Annie Nightingale, Rinse FM’s Marcus Nasty, and Diplo.
