Birdz releases his latest single ‘Fly’ featuring vocalist Ngaiire as a tribute that speaks to the beauty of strength and resilience. ‘Fly’ will be featured on Birdz upcoming album planned for release later this year. After being conceptualized in May 2020, ‘Fly’ was quickly chosen to be one of the first songs Birdz wrote for his upcoming album.

Birdz shares…

“As Indigenous people, we carry with us the oldest living cultures in the world. That’s something sacred that no one can ever take from us - it’s that energy that holds our heads up high no matter what the world throws at us.”

Sydney based performer, vocalist, and artist Ngaiire was a natural partner in the studio alongside Birdz. The duo had to work remotely on the single due to COVID restrictions however, they pulled together for a powerhouse good-vibes single through the toughest of times.

Birdz continues…

“Once we had all the pieces to the puzzle, trials went back in on the production and made it an actual banger. In the end, I think the song came together over the course of 4 or 5 months. It was one of those ideas that really stuck and helped spark inspiration for the album.“

With a message of hope, self-determination, and pride as a Butchalla man, Birdz will continue to take his hard hitting hip-hop to new levels especially with his upcoming album release this year.
