‘For My Father’ is a pop/folk single featuring a yearning and love filled vocal coupled with a yearning piano that leaves the listener living through the emotions of Becoming Young. Lyrically, the song comes alive with its honest, love driven, and introspective themes throughout the track. If the track wasn’t special enough, this is also Becoming Young’s first ever piano-driven single!
In a successful attempt to bridge his most recent pop album Feeling Single with a more serious form of artistry coming with his next project The Songs I Wrote You. This project begins releasing Jan 1, 2021. The expansion from pop to the singer-songwriter genre began in January of 2020 when he teamed with producer Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Vance Joy) on three singles for the new album.
After selling out shows in cities from Atlanta to Portland, building a loyal cult following, and continuing to break artistic boundaries, Becoming Young is on his way to a stellar 2021.
